Timothy J.Vaughan, MD, FAAP and his entire staff's mission is to provide your child with personalized, high-quality care. We feel this starts from your first phone call into the office; throughout your child's appointment; and then extends to any concerns that might present immediately after your appointment. This is achieved through Dr. Tim's guidance and supervision of our caring RNs; Patient Care Coordinator, and extremely experienced office staff.
Experienced Medical Professional
Dr. Vaughan has been a board certified pediatrician in Pinellas County since 1998. He started his career under the guidance of Jean Bennett, MD and the practice she created and was fortunate to work with Dr. Jean until her retirement.
A Personal Approach
As a solo practitioner, Dr. Vaughan is able to offer personalized and individualized care in a family oriented practice: one doctor, one opinion, one office location. In addition, Dr. Vaughan takes all his own after-hour phone calls...no call centers, no on-call services.
21st Century Technology in a small office atmosphere
The Electronic Health Record (EHR) allow your child's medical information to be accessible by Dr. Vaughan 24 hours/day, 7 days/week, 52 weeks/year from the office, his home, or any location that he is able to access via the internet.
Dr. Vaughan is also able to e-mail any necessary prescriptions for your child, to the pharmacy of your choice, most often prior to you leaving the exam room.
Preventative Care
We offer a variety of preventative care services such as all wellness examinations from birth to 2-1/2 yrs as recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), annual wellness exams from 3 yrs thru 21 yrs as recommended by the AAP, and sports physicals.
Acute Symptoms/Chronic Issues
We offer in-house diagnostics and treatments for many acute symptoms including, but not limited to, strep throat and flu tests; wart/skin tag removal; and ear wax removal.
We also provide assistance in the diagnosis and management of ADHD and other developmental conditions.
